“Can people with nearsightedness work in Japan?”

One of the questions frequently asked to ArkaLearn by those who want to  work in Japan . To find out the answer, let's read this article, Arky's friend.

Japan is still a destination for Indonesian migrant workers looking for decent jobs with high wages. This high salary can be obtained by workers with at least high school/vocational high school graduates or equivalent by working as  Tokutei Ginou/Specified Skilled Workers  (SSW).

However, to work in Japan as a  Tokutei Ginou , there are a number of general requirements that must be met. One of them is the requirements related to the physical and health of prospective workers such as height, eye health, and body posture.

So, in this article, ArkaLearn will discuss the latest physical and health requirements for  working in Japan.

2. Height

For those of you who want to work in Japan, make sure you have a height of 160 cm for men. While for women at least 155 cm.

The next requirement for working in Japan is a dental health test. Those of you who wear dentures cannot work in Japan as  Tokutei Ginou.  However, this may or may not apply, depending on the provisions of the company you work for.

5. Ear Health

To work in Japan, make sure you have no history of ear disease. Also, you are not allowed to have piercings.

Next, there is also a skin health test. Make sure you do not have skin diseases and tattoos. In addition, if there are burns, it must be ensured whether they interfere with the body's motor system or not.
