FAQ
Questions About Gijinkoku
Can I start at a level above N5 (beginner)?
Yes! If you have studied N5 (Minna no Nihongo chapters 1–25), you can start at N4. If you already have a JLPT N4 or JFT A2 certificate, you can start at N3 or N2.
Can I change the class schedule?
No, schedules are fixed. If your intake meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but you can only attend Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Arky recommends waiting for the next intake with a suitable schedule. In-person classes are only held on Saturday and Sunday.
Can I join while working?
Absolutely. Online classes are held on weekday evenings, with recordings available. In-person classes are held on Saturday and Sunday, so they will not interfere with your work schedule.
